He made his first million by age 26, buying and turning around distressed properties and businesses. For over 40 years, Karim has developed, invested, financed, brokered, managed, and consulted in real estate properties. These properties include condo projects, apartment buildings, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial buildings, hotels, and mixed-use properties. He has developed new construction, remodeled, fixed up, and converted properties for different uses to maximize their return on investment.

Karim is the author of the “Smart Real Estate Investor Guide.” He has been published several times in over 116 business and real estate publications nationwide and 42 professional newsletters. Karim was invited to speak and taught real estate at UCLA and USC. For the last 22 years, Karim has organized and sponsored real estate conferences with real estate professional speakers covering different topics every month. In the previous twelve years, he has organized and sponsored the real estate syndication summit, an all-day conference inviting 35 speakers covering real estate syndication and crowdfunding.
